Most online dating sites make their money by charging a monthly subscription. There are free sites out there, but I’ve never had much luck with them because they seem to be full of spammers that are not real women and so many men to choose from that you have to be George Clooney to catch a girl’s attention. You get what you pay for, and spending $20 a month on a membership is a steal if you are actually meeting women on the site.

Most online dating sites also have affiliate programs where you can promote a site and get a percentage of the profit they get from new subscriptions you send them. This is great for getting the word out, but it’s annoying for customers because it generates a huge quantity of spammers on the sites themselves. These spammers pose as women and try to get men to sign up for accounts on other dating sites in order to meet them. If a beautiful woman tries to get you to sign up for an account on a new site just to meet her, she is ALWAYS a spammer, don’t waste your time.

As with any dating scene there are more men than women who are trying to meet people, and let;s be honest, sleep with them. There are lots of women, over a million of them just in the U.S. who have joined online dating sites, but there are even more men. If you want to meet women you have to stand out and be at the top of the class. Luckily this isn’t a singles bar where you need good looks and a BMW to be at the head of the pack. Online dating is much easier because you simply have to represent yourself well. Another great thing about online dating is that there is really no fear of rejection. Rejection online doesn’t hurt, and there are so many women you’ll be talking to that you won’t even notice if a few of them aren’t interested. You’ll have thousands of women to choose from, and with most sites you’ll get an email every week with new women who have just joined the site. You don’t have to be rich, but you do need to give off the impression that you have a little money. Money is a turn on, whether women admit it or not, and a broke ass with no pic and a bad profile will get nowhere.
